"Idanha-a-Nova, towards a new recognition by UNESCO !
Among other already recognized as creative city of music, this time the Portuguese city asks to inscribe "the Paschal Mystery in Idanha-a-Nova" in the "Register of Good Safeguarding Practices" of UNESCO.
Thanks to this, the city wants to highlight the long-term work realized for preserving and revitalizing the numerous popular religious manifestations (to the number of 250 currently) taking place for 90 days, during Lent and Paschal season.
