IDANHA-A-NOVA CITY OF MUSIC

On March 21st, the 9th edition of Early Music Day is celebrated, "a celebration of more than a millennium of music, through concerts, events, and happenings taking place simultaneously across Europe."

Organised by REMA - European Early Music Network - “Early Music Day is held every ye"ar on 21st March, a day celebrating the beginning of spring, and the birthday of Johann Sebastian Bach”.

Arte das Musas and Fora do Lugar Festival, members of REMA since 2020, join, for the second time, the Early Music Day, with a concert by Sete Lágrimas ECMC, dedicated to Katina Lillios (USA), from the fantastic Cathedral of Idanha-a-Velha, inspiring venue of the territory of Idanha-a-Nova - UNESCO Creative City of Music.
