Here, Caramelo - caramel - is the popular expression referring to the thin ice cap formed over water, on cold winter nights.
Idanha offers Caramel Music and other stuff next Saturday night.
A night walk around Idanha-a-Nova’s fountains, followed by a clarinet and trumpet concert and, in the end, a nice snack, all in the same evening. This original suggestion of the initiative "Caramel Music and other things, in the cold of the night ...", will take place next Saturday, January 26, with free participation.
The activity begins with the tour "Night shinning water ...", that takes the participants in a route by Idanha-a-Nova’s fountains. The meeting point is at 8:30 p.m., at S. Jerome’s Fountain, near the Feira Raiana fair grounds.
The walk ends at the Chafariz dos Açougues, next to the headquarters of the Idanhense Philharmonic, where a clarinet and a trumpet talk to each other out in the cold ... before snacking on something inside, already more cozy.
It is an event not to be missed and is part of Project Five: "5 Municipalities, 5 Cultures, 5 Senses".
